A couple of weeks ago, we spent an incredibly fun and energetic evening with Ketika and Paresh in the Kirkland neighborhood parks. This exuberant and fun-loving couple is expecting their very first ‘nugget’ in June!
Ketika with her gorgeous doe-like eyes and pretty smile and Paresh with his effervescent personality have this infectious energy that flows through a room; touching everyone in its path and encompassing them with vigor and mirth! They are some of the most fun, ready-to-go and experimental folks we’ve had the pleasure of working with!
One would think that at almost 9months and a lovely baby bump, Ketika would be slow and cautious but that notion flies out of the window once you meet her! From the word ‘go’, she was all gung-ho about trying new and different poses. It’s amazing to see a new mom-to-be this quick on her feet!

Scheduling these two was a tad difficult … what do you expect of two social butterflies whose calendar is always full? When we finally managed to put a date down, we were already close to Ketika’s due date. We only hoped we didn’t have to leave the shoot mid way to run to the hospital! (Although lil’ Tashi came by earlier than expected and before we finished work on these pictures!).
Photographing them was pure joy; they were both open to ideas and easy to work with. We love it when we are forced to think out of the box and our clients are ready to experiment! When we were storyboarding with this couple, they were certain they wanted the shoot to be fun, cheerful and colorful and we are hoping that’s what we’ve aimed to achieve! *Update* Soon after our shoot, ‘KT Parry’ (as they are fondly known as a couple) welcomed their new baby girl- Tashi into the world and we can absolutely assure you’ll that their little one is a ‘heartbreaker’!
We wish you three a world of happiness and love and hope that we get to see Tashi real soon again.
