Raahi turns one
On our blog today is the sweet, lil charmer with a smile that could lethally wound your heart and eyes that twinkle in delight
This little one loves to surprise ….He had already announced his arrival before his mamma could have a baby shower.! A little anxious, a whole lot scared but totally excited and eager, his parents welcomed ‘Raahi’ into the world. A year later, a little past his first birthday and plenty-trips-around-the-world later, we met the beautiful family at their gorgeous Issaquah house. It was a lovely day with the sun playing hide and seek in between the clouds. Raahi had just woken up from his afternoon slumber and was flashing bright and happy smiles everywhere! He made the entire session feel like a breeze! He insisted on showing everyone his toys and forced Daddy Gunjan to read out books to him and us. Mumma Ankita was feeding him berries and making sure he wasn’t running around too fast! Intermittently, he also kept us entertained by playing ‘touch-my-nose-to-your’s-and-run’ game that he invented on the fly — our hearts melted!
Soon we had to say our goodbyes but decided to meet again to do another outdoor shoot.
Two days later, we were praying to the rain Gods to give Seattle a break and give Mr. Sun a chance. I guess we got lucky since the evening turned out to be beautiful–a gentle sun aided by a cool breeze! We walked to the park close by and Raahi got into his element! There were swings to be swung, slides to be conquered and friends to be made; all this while eating cereal from a lunch box! As the delightful evening came to a close, one could tell how loved this little boy was and how he had made their life complete. Meraki wishes the family the best and hopes to meet Raahi soon for some more games
