A little while ago, we featured a ‘much-in-love’ young couple that were soon to be engaged—Ajinkya and Maithili. We had the opportunity to do a pre-engagement shoot for them
Well, their D-day dawned upon them and boy, was it fun! A sweet and cozy venue made up for a great evening as family and friends poured in from near and far to partake in the celebrations. Ajinkya looked dapper in his Nehru jacket and Maithili, looked like the perfect, traditional ‘Marathi mulgi’. The two lovebirds couldn’t take their eyes off each other the entire evening and it was evident from the way they kept casting glances at each other.
After offering a small prayer to the heavens above, the engagement rituals started. The beautiful rings were exchanged amidst a noisy and fun-filled chaos! We heard that the soon to-be-groom had designed Maithili’s ring himself. Quite a feat, we think!
The post-engagement merriment moved to the dance floor while the both the families got to know each other better. If this was an Indian Christmas, this is exactly what the sentiment would look like! We couldn’t be happier to see these two finally come together but picture abhi baki hai! As Richard Bach had once quoted, “True love stories never have endings.”
