The silver jubilee party, thrown by their friends was nothing short of a wedding—everyone partook in the festivities! The house was beautifully decorated and every family brought along some delicious Bengali dish. When the couple of the hour entered the house, they had a grand welcome and Sumana and Deb were quickly whisked away by their friends to change and they decked them up like a true Bengali bride and groom, ready for marriage! Lots of photo ops and some photo booth madness later, the fun gang assembled in a huge hall, which was decorated with streamers, large words that spelled out ‘Sumana weds Deb’ and a TV that flashed pictures of the adorable couple. There were two grand looking chairs for the couple of the hour to sit and watch a skit put together by their enthusiastic friends, depicting their love story from yore to date! Post the skit, everyone broke in to song and dance…love flowed through the room!
